I'm excited to share the launch of the Inaugural Space Economy Conference, a new developmental conference dedicated to advancing management research on the Space Economy.
This two-day event will focus on selected research and practice in strategy, entrepreneurship, and innovation. Selected submissions will be invited to present their work and engage with senior faculty discussants.
The conference will include two complementary tracks:
🎓 Academic Track: Designed for researchers, faculty members, postdoctoral researchers, and doctoral students. The track will feature developmental paper and poster sessions, senior faculty discussants, and structured opportunities to strengthen research for publication and build new collaborations.
🚀 Professional and Practitioner Track: Designed for entrepreneurs, investors, industry professionals, policymakers, and other leaders working in the space economy. The track will focus on practical challenges, business models, innovation, investment, and collaboration between academia and industry.
The wider programme will also feature:
🔹 Keynotes and panel discussions
🔹 Structured networking and collaboration opportunities
🔹 A Shark Tank finale connecting researchers, entrepreneurs, investors, and leading academics
🔹 A pathway towards special issue proposals in leading management journals, currently in development
The inaugural conference will also celebrate Prof. Christopher Tucci in recognition of his outstanding contributions and service to the management research community.
