85th Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management

Copenhagen, Denmark • July 25–29, 2025

Research Presentations Professional Development Methodology Workshops Global Networking

The Academy of Management (AOM) Annual Meeting is a central part of the DEI Division’s activities. In 2025, the Division proudly contributed to the global exchange of scholarship, practice, and community engagement during the first AOM Annual Meeting held outside of North America.

Attending the meeting in person provides DEI members with opportunities to present research and receive valuable feedback, connect with scholars working on similar topics, engage in professional and methodological development, and strengthen global professional networks.

We had an amazing time in Denmark—meeting friends (old and new) and celebrating at events including the Celebration of Success, the welcome coffee, our first DACS session, and the special off-site day at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts.

With gratitude: Thank you to Jenny Hoobler, Yuka Fujimoto, and Sanjee Perera for spearheading this initiative. Stay tuned for DACS updates for AOM 2026.

Preparing for AOM 2026 in Philadelphia

AOM 2026 | Philadelphia, PA, USA | 31 July – 4 August 2026

Already thinking about submitting for next year?

As every year, we welcome conceptual and empirical papers, panel and presenter symposia, professional development workshops (PDWs), and caucus submissions.

  • We especially encourage PDWs and caucuses and invite you to think creatively about formats including experiential learning sessions.
  • When developing a symposium or PDW submission, consider how to design a session that reflects the Division’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Build Inclusive Sessions

  • Include peers at different levels of seniority
  • Collaborate across countries and institutions
  • Incorporate interdisciplinary perspectives
  • Design sessions that engage multiple AOM divisions

Expand Your Network

If you are newer to AOM or looking to broaden your collaborations, consider using Connect@AOM to message division members and identify partners for PDWs or symposium proposals.
