Criteria for the award:
- impact or significance of intellectual contributions on educational practices that support the advancement of women in leadership
- the breadth or overall scope of the nominee's work with respect to her/his/their contribution to such educational practices
- demonstration of an understanding of the specific benefits of education for women for their empowerment and leadership
- the breadth and depth of their educational practices that support the advancement of women in leadership.
The award, which includes $500 sponsored by the Simmons University Institute for Inclusive Leadership, will be presented in person at the Academy of Management meeting.
Self-nominations are accepted. To nominate, please submit: (1) a 2-3 page letter of recommendation outlining the nominee's contributions with respect to the criteria stated above and (2) a copy of the nominee's curriculum vitae.
